Description
This home is in a sleepy village on the St. Lawrence River in New York. It borders NY and Canada. I love this mansard roofed victorian home. I started this as a plein air painting but the day I started it, the rain came down. I went back when there were leaves on the trees as it was rather stark in the early spring. I finished it in my studio from an older picture taken about ten years ago. The gardens have changed since then and the black eyed susans are no longer there.
